Fewer posts, better timed.
Pick your few.
Choose two to four dates a month that genuinely connect to your work, your audience or your values. Skipping a day beats a forced post.
Plan two weeks out.
Draft posts, emails and graphics at least two weeks ahead, and check the organizer's theme, since many announce one a few weeks before.
Match the tone to the day.
Celebrate the fun ones. On days tagged “Mark respectfully”, share, listen and pause promotions.

Is the calendar free to use and share?
Yes. The calendar and the printable PDF are free for any business, nonprofit, school or association to use for planning. You are welcome to share the page or link to it. Please don't republish the full list as your own.
How often is the calendar updated?
We refresh it every year, usually in the fall before the new year starts, and we update it whenever an organizer announces or changes a date. The Sources section shows when the dates were last checked.
Are all the dates confirmed?
Most dates are fixed every year or follow a set rule, like the second Monday of October for Thanksgiving. A few are set by their organizers each year and had not been announced when we published. Those are marked “Date to be confirmed” with their usual timing, so check the organizer's website before you schedule.
